On Thursday we all went on a sightseeing trip to Frankfurt. The first point on our to-do-list was visiting the Main Tower. On top of the fourth highest building in Germany it was a bit cold but luckily the sun was just coming out. We took a lot of photos, especially the teachers;). The next stop was Paulskirche and the Römer. The last point of interest was the Eisernersteg with lovers’ padlocks on the railings. After that we had some free time for shopping, lunch etc. We showed our guests Frankfurt in little groups so that they could experience the city from our point of view. We had a lot of fun and a really successful day.
If I had to describe the week in one word, I would say “perfect”! In my opinion the programme was great. Every day we had some free time to show our exchange students “our German way of life”. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and I just can repeat it, it was perfect. The only problem we had was that the week was too short and that’s why the departure was terrible. But I hope that we all will meet again one day.
